How does the plan work?
We use calorie counting for the simple reason that calories are the currency of the human body! If you want to change your body you have to change your calories.
If you look at any diet on the planet they all split down to the same thing, reducing calories. Whether that's through reducing a macronutrient type (e.g low carb diet), or giving you eating windows (5:2 diet), or replacing meals altogether (meal-replacement shakes/bars etc) they are all forcing you to reduce calories.
So, if that's the goal why put yourself through the torture of following strict rules when you can have the flexibility to enjoy the foods and drinks that you like, simply by keeping a log of how much they cost (in calories)?
It's super easy to do, you simply log your food and drink into an app on your phone, either scanning the bar code on the wrapper, or searching the extensive database, a couple of taps and you're done!
Let the technology do all the hard work so all you have to do is think about what you want to have at meal time!
When you join Calorie Club we'll help you understand the different components of your eating plan (protein, carbs, fats etc) and help you set your calorie budget using our calculator. We'll take you through how to set up your day to get what you need, and then it's over to you to selct the foods and drinks that you enjoy!
Then each week you check-in with us to share your results, keep on track, and learn even more from our amazing team and brilliant members! It really is as simple as that! Accountability, Positivity, Flexibility and Community!
